Utah Bride and Groom Magazine | White Party DJ & Band Gig Recap
By DJ Cam Reeve
As a wedding DJ in Utah, I've spent a lot of time around some incredible wedding vendors in this state. From photographers and florists to wedding planners and caterers, there is no shortage of talented professionals who can help make a couple's big day truly unforgettable. If you're not working in the industry everyday, you may not realize how wide the industry is truly spread. For wedding pros, it can be easy to miss out on just how important it is to have a reliable network of vendors and a variety of ways to market yourself in the state. However, many vendors and couples alike use Utah Bride and Groom Magazine for this exact reason.
What is Utah Bride & Groom Magazine?
Utah Bride and Groom Magazine is a bi-annual publication sold at over 200 locations that serves as a comprehensive guide for couples planning their wedding in Utah. The magazine covers a wide range of topics related to weddings, including wedding planning tips, fashion and beauty advice, venue recommendations, real weddings, and much more. It’s been around since 1991, making it one of the longest-running bridal magazines in Utah. The magazine was founded by its current owner and publisher, Bruce Corrigan, who saw a need for a local publication that could showcase the best of Utah's wedding industry and provide inspiration and information for couples planning their big day.
Over the years, the magazine has become a trusted resource for brides and grooms in Utah, offering a comprehensive guide to wedding planning, fashion, beauty, and more. Today, Utah Bride and Groom Magazine continues to be a leading voice in the wedding industry, both in Utah and beyond, and remains committed to providing its readers with the highest quality content and resources.
One of the unique features of Utah Bride and Groom Magazine is its focus on local vendors and businesses. The magazine showcases the best of Utah's wedding industry, featuring interviews with local wedding professionals and highlighting their work in photo shoots and real weddings. This focus on local businesses helps to create a sense of community among readers and provides valuable exposure for vendors. In addition to its print publication, Utah Bride and Groom Magazine also maintains a strong online presence through its website and social media channels. The website offers additional content, including blog posts, photo galleries, and a vendor directory, which allows readers to easily find and connect with local wedding professionals.
The Utah Bride & Groom Magazine White Party
For years, Utah Bride & Groom Magazine has thrown an annual White Party for the hardworking professionals behind the scenes of some of Utah’s most stunning weddings. This yearly celebration has become a staple in the local wedding industry, drawing in those vendors who spend hours upon hours crafting unique and memorable weddings for their couples. With the 2023 White Party fresh in my mind, I wanted to take a second to highlight some of the amazing individuals and companies that brough the event to life. I was lucky enough to be called up by friends at the incredible Utah Live Bands to take part in the White Party entertainment. It was an honor to be able to work alongside their group, as I’m always looking to jump at any opportunity to collaborate with bands, artists, and other companies offering live entertainers.
