I do not know what it is about The Lodge at Blue Sky & High West Distillery in Wanship Utah, but they always have the best parties with the most amazing couples. Let me tell you from the first call with Arielle I knew this was going to be a party! For Arielle & James, music was the focus and there were special songs associated with every part of the evening.
We started the day at Blue Sky Ranch lower lawn. As they arrived, Utah Live Bands' saxophone and guitar player provided a melodic welcome of some covers of some incredible songs.
With the bridal and groom's parties in place, the ceremony commenced to the classic "Somewhere Beyond the Sea." Arielles entrance was a highlight of the event for me. She entered to the song "Latch," marking a special beginning to the couple's union.
The transition to the cocktail hour was seamless, with family photos captured against the stunning ranch backdrop and our saxophonist and guitar player continuing with tunes that spoke to the couple.
The arena then welcomed the guests for dinner. The entry of the wedding party was energized by "Watch Out for This," and the bride and groom making a memorable entrance to "I Got U."
Their first dance to Bieber's "Lifetime" was enveloped in streamer cannons, adding a touch of magic. Toasts from close family and friends brought warmth and personality to the evening, while the dinner service promised a culinary delight.
As evening set in, the whiskey barrels made way for a dance floor under the stars. The champagne tower became a focal point, with heartfelt toasts preceding the couple's "Thank You" speech, inviting everyone to join in the champagne pouring to the tune of "You are the Reason."
The mother-son and father-daughter dances were tender moments, leading into a night of open dancing to the energizing "Rather Be Remix." The night was sweetened with desserts and the cake cutting, all set against the backdrop of fountain fireworks, with the tunes of Clean Bandit amplifying the joy.
The celebration hit a high note with the traditional "Hora," before transitioning to a laid-back vibe with late-night pizza snacks. As the evening wrapped up, the bride's outfit change to "Stayin Alive" signaled the end of formalities and the start of a jubilant send-off complete with fireworks, as the couple departed on their new journey together.
