Audio-Visual Production in Salt Lake City - Our Weekend with The GalleryX NightClub.
By DJ Cam Reeve
Last weekend, our team had the opportunity to work with No Noise Production on an exciting event. The event took place over 5 days, with our involvement taking up 3 of the days. Everything started on a Thursday with a load-in at 12:30 pm and a start time of 5 pm. We provided power distro, a 12’x16’ stage, a concert-grade PA system, trussing, and lighting to ensure a smooth and successful event. The location? The Gateway in downtown SLC, UT.
The Galley X opened at 5:00 p.m. with art sponsored by Microsoft Xbox Live on display. This was when the first DJ began playing music to start the event. Then, around 9:00 p.m., DJ Spaz arrived and set the vibe for the performances. The Ying Yang Twins and Lil Flip then took the stage, ending our Audio-Visual Production in Salt Lake City around 1:30 a.m.
Friday started at 10:30 am with the crew getting set up for the day's events, which began at 11:00 a.m. Microsoft Activation/The Gallery XD continued until 5:00 p.m., with a DJ playing music until 9:00 p.m. DJ Beatnick then took over and performed until Luniz & Twista finished up around 1:00 a.m. The room was then reset for “The Gallery After Dark”, which took place from 2:30-5:00 a.m., with our crew leaving at 5:30 am.
On Saturday, a fresh crew showed up for a start time of 11:00 a.m. with Dunks and Brunch featuring Jimmy Choo Sneaker Design. This portion of the event lasted until 3pm Around 5:00, a private group hosted a Shark Tank Conference Style Panel/Presentation for a few hours.
DJ Beatnick then jumped back on the 1’s & 2’s to DJ before Chingy and Bone Thugs N Harmony took the stage later in the evening.
Our team's favorite performance of the weekend? It was difficult to choose, but ultimately we settled on a toss-up between Chingy and Bone Thugs N Harmony. We want to give a big shout out to the people who made this event happen, including Brady McDonald, Mark Christiensen, John Wallace, Keaton Boren, Cambridge Cardon, and Matty Mo all key players in making this happen for us at Reeverb Entertainment.
In conclusion, it was an incredible experience working with both No Noise on the GalleryX NightClub.
